As a Real Estate Appraiser for both Butler, Burgher Real Estate and for Irvin Company, researched appraisal software to improve office efficiency, effectiveness and customer service. Provided company management with system upgrade recommendations. In both cases, the software was purchased and implemented. Assisted with the implementation and mentored up to 12 peers in the effective use of the new software, PDF’s, internet mapping and digital photos.

Responsible for the accurate and timely real estate appraisal of over 950 properties in the DFW metro area. Experienced with property valued up to $2,400,000. Recommended software upgrade to Ala Mode. Assisted with the implementation and mentored 12 appraisers to ensure an effective transition. Clients include First Preston (HUD), Community Credit Union, SWA Fed CU.

Air Traffic Control Specialist
Olathe, KS- Promoted to direct aircraft over an approximately 10,000 square mile territory covering parts of 4 states. The Kansas City Regional Control Center facility is a Level 5 facility, the highest difficulty in the nation, similar to DFW or LAX. Directed flow into Dallas, Fort Worth, Chicago and Denver, often controlling as many as 30 aircraft at once.
Des Moines, IA- Directed aircraft including jet fighters, Army helicopters, commercial airliners and other aircraft flying simultaneously. Mentored new air traffic controller trainees on an ongoing basis.
Casper, WY- Air traffic controller covering a 250 square mile mountainous area. Routinely worked 6-day work weeks for 8 years to cover for the air traffic controller shortage due to the early 1980s strike. Regularly mentored new trainees.
